There was a recent discovery that is said to be a missing link as to how humans progressed so quickly. As in the human lineage, there had been a large chunk of time missing in this dinosaur's family tree. The skeletons dated around 160 million years which has now filled the gap. The dinosaur fossils found have been named Darwinopterus and is a two-foot long bird-like animal with huge talons. There have been two variations of the animal found previously which are identified as the primitive long-tailed forms and their short-tailed descendants. It was found in China.
I am still so amazed at dinosaur bone discoveries. I can't believe that such a life, atmosphere, and environment used to exist. The animals, organisms and species that have walked this earth are giant with incredible potential. If only we could travel back in time...
