Kenyan News

I was in Kenya in July when an attack on a church near the Somalian border was first targeted. The word was that a church in the area was bombed while men with machine guns waited for the survivors to run out of the building. Because of these actions by Al-Shabab, everywhere we went in Kenya was under high security.  Every entrance to buildings, businesses, grocery stores, and churches people were wanded down. We had a field trip with the kids to the parliament but there were too many people for it to be safe to visit due to the attacks. Now it has happened again. It is actually very scary for people all over Kenya because most warfare avoids holy areas. Churches are generally off-limits. Once a church is hit, that leaves any area is equally likely to become a target.
